Can you hear that? It’s the sound of students building machines in SECME. SECME is a club where students engineer and build all kinds of interesting machines. Club members learn how they can improve their devices and make them even better. Every year, they compete in a competition called the UCF SECME Regional Competition to show their engineering skills to judges. Kendall Truong, who is in 6th grade, said, “I like SECME because you get to learn about engineering and teamwork.” SECME meets every Monday before school in Mrs. Desouza’s classroom.
