Is that service hour requirement for Beta Club looming up on you? Don’t worry! Here are some simple service hour opportunities! (All Volunteer Opportunities Require a Signed Parent Permission Form)
Young Innovators
Arguably the most popular volunteer opportunity for Beta, Young Innovators involves going to the daycare across the street and working with teachers and the children. This takes place every Wednesday from 3:05pm to 4:15pm. All volunteers meet at the Lorenzo Library and walk over to the daycare. Check eCampus for more info!
American Heart Association
In the spring, Beta Club sponsors an American Heart Association fundraiser. This involves raising money for a great cause, and getting service hours. One of the parts of the fundraiser, Finn’s Mission, gives you eight service hours upon completion! Make sure to check eCampus to find out when this awesome opportunity starts.
Beta Book Box
Beta Club has taken over the book box outside of the school. You can donate old books to the book (Three Books = 30 Minutes), or you can volunteer on Monday mornings to clean out and restock the box. Check eCampus for sign up.
