The team at the First Lego League event.

In October, LCMS’s Robotics Teams attended the First Lego League (FLL) event. They were split into two teams: Team 2, the more experienced team, and Team 1, which had many new participants. Team 2 stood out for having the only prototype in the Innovation Project, earning praise from the judges for having the strongest presentation in the afternoon session.

“Anything can happen at these events—robots not working, code accidentally wiped, ect,” Ms. Lopez said, robotics liaison.

The scrimmage is only a practice run for the Qualifier event in December, giving the teams feedback and a time to improve. Best of luck to both teams as they prepare for December, we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!
