The PTSA Skate Night happened on September 16th, and some of LCMS’ students and their parents attended. The variety of skill levels when it came to skating differed. It was interesting to watch beginners learn how to skate. There were quite a few tumbles, but it was exciting as soon as they learned how to skate properly. Friends gathered and hung out, taught each other how to skate, and boosted each other up.

Adrianna Russell (5th) went to the PTSA skate night because of her older sister who currently attends LCMS. When she was asked how it felt beating 6th graders in a skating race that happened during the event, she answered by saying, “It felt nice.”
