Congratulations to Riley Greene, a LCMS alumni, for earning the start in left field for the American League All Stars!
While we go school to learn about math, ELA, history, and more, we also come here to do sports, and try out for teams. We don’t have a baseball team, but that didn’t stop Riley Greene. Even from a young age he was passionate at sports, being the athletic types. Usually when someone is athletic they don’t care about their grades, but Riley was different. He managed to be a good student, get good grades, and also have a nice personality.
While in middle school he had many teachers, but two still work here today, Ms. McConnell and Dr. SmithpDavis!
Middle school is a hard time for some students, but Riley made it work. He is now 25 years old, a professional baseball player, and doing better than ever. People would have never guessed that he went to middle school in Lawton Chiles, and got good grades.
