Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22 to promote environmental protection and fight against deforestation and pollution. To contribute to the meaning of Earth Day, many people do things like planting trees, recycling plastic, and cleaning up litter. Mrs. Maiden does her part by helping educate her students. On Wednesday, April 24, two water conservationists came in from Altamonte Water Company to talk to them.

On Wednesday, April 24, two workers from the Altamonte Water Company came in to talk about the importance of water. They took turns explaining what they do at the company, and then they answered the students’ questions. Their names are Rafael (far left) and Justin (far right).
