If you passed by building three in late February, you may have seen an explosion of color and art by the amphitheater. This is an annual teacher event called Chalk the Yard, where after school all the teachers grab some chalk, and let their creativity shine through. Not every teacher does this, but those who do create amazing art, with nothing but chalk.
Unfortunately, it rained the weekend after Chalk the Yard, which washed away the art shortly after it was made. Though the art didn’t last long, teachers worked hard on it, and it showed. If you weren’t able to see it this year, then maybe you’ll see it next year!
