The Orlando Museum of Art has picked Adriana Campos to have her artwork displayed at the Peggy Crosby Student Gallery. Each year, the museum features talented students from local schools, and Adriana’s work will be recognized from the end of October to January 4th. Her mandala of pink, purple, and blue—colors she has loved since she was little—was chosen because of its detail and time put into it.
Adriana’s inspiration came from a mix of different pictures that she saw online, combining them all together to make her mandala. She said Ms. Dean motivated her with ideas.
“I was really shocked because I wasn’t expecting to hear my name on the announcements,” she said. “I was also really happy and proud.”
She said her future goals are to become better at art and get more opportunities.
Congratulations, Adriana!
