We have officially had the 2nd meet of the Cross country season! Our panthers were thrown a little curve ball for the meet. Everyone had expected it to be cold like the rest of the week had been before that. They showed up to school in sweat pants and their jerseys with long sleeve shirts under. Turns out they didn’t have to bring any of that, it was perfect running weather! Luckily most of the people had brought shorts to change into. They also didn’t have to worry about changing their pace or their breathing pattern!
Lily Speakman said, “I feel like I did my best even though I didn’t get the place I wanted.”
Overall LCMS won the meet as a team, but the boys varsity did loose. This has left us with a 2-0 record for boys JV and both girls teams! And a 1-1 record for boys varsity! Their next meet with be at Indian Trails on November 19th. Good job panthers Cross-country and keep up with the great season!
