On Wednesday, November 3rd, 2025 the first cross country meet of the season kicked off. LCMS ran against SSA (South Seminole Academy), located in Sanford. Before the race started our panthers waited in the growl grill and prepared. Some of the girls worked on their hair, and the boys hung out and talked. One thing everyone did is eat some pre-race snacks. Usually the snacks consist of fruit or granola bars. Once they are out on the track they try to stay in the shade to conserve energy. Most of the people on the team were excited and nervous for their first race. LCMS won their first race of the season and there have already been many panthers close to breaking records! Jordan Mariom ran 1.5 miles in about 9 minutes! Their next meet is November 12th, so come out and cheer them on!

The race has just begun and every one is taking off! Since they were running out of light, the Varsity and JV team both ran 1.5 miles at the same time.

MJ Schwabe is a 7th grader and this is her first time in yearbook. She attended Camp Orlando over the summer and had the best time! She is currently a staff member who is trying out everything since this is her first year in yearbook. In her free time, she likes to play basketball and Cross country, and hanging out with friends!
