"My favorite character from The Outsiders is Johnny Cade"- Junie Densberger (7). At just 16 Johnny is a vital part of the greaser gang, and just like everyone, he has his secrets. These iconic characters have been recreated in the movie and musical and continue to wow readers and audiences in many ways. This year 7th graders are loving the book just like all the generations of 7th before them.

LCMS Student Emily Lentz is working on her civics worksheet, her partner next to her. Emily is a student in Mrs. Stone's 7th period. "It helped me understand how we made our rules and how Baron Montesquieu and John Locke thought about how government should be," Emily said.

Brielle Duncan and Valentina Newberg showed their school spirit by wearing red on Monday.

Here at LCMS the week of 10/27-10/31 is red ribbon week! The theme for red ribbon week this year is “Life is a puzzle, solve it drug free.” On Monday 10/27 we are supposed to wear red to say no to drugs, a lot of people showed up to school in red. The spirit went from people just wearing red shirts to people wearing tutus, sunglasses and even wacky socks!

Along with design she enjoys Hunting, Fishing, Boat rides, Reading, Kayaking, and spending time with her family. Her favorite movies are the Hunger Games series and the Divergent series. Her favorite books include Hunger Games, and My life with the Walter Goys.
