Every year, the Beta Club at our school has an induction ceremony for new members in the spring. But this year, Ms. Brady and the leadership team decided to host one in the fall, for members who were invited at the beginning of the year. Two new members were also inducted to the Beta Leadership team.
The leadership team are the ones who mostly run the ceremony, from decorating the venue for the occasion to holding the door for Beta and their families. Four members talked about the four pillars of Beta during the ceremony, Achievement, Character, Leadership, and Service. Then, the inductees all said the pledge and got their certificates!
Finally, the new leadership members were inducted! Sarah Chambers (7) and Lyla Lanier (7), were inducted to the leadership team! “I felt proud that I got inducted and that I had more responsibilities to help more Betas” says Lyla.
