The transition between elementary school and middle school can be hard, but it can also be really enjoyable. In elementary school, kids have around two classes and teachers, but in middle school they can have up to 10 different teachers and classes. Would that make it easier to make friends? Yes!
“There’s a lot more people to talk to,” says Camilla Hing (6th).
Along with 7 different classes there’s another thing that’s different from elementary. Lunch! In elementary you have an assigned table with your class but in middle school you can sit wherever and with anyone you want. You also have more options for lunch opposed to one certain thing a day.
“The best part of school is lunch because there’s more options and not just one,” said Georges Deridder (6th).
