This school year, over 394 incoming 6th graders joined our school, and 10 others joined during the school year. Next school year, after summer, those students will become 7th graders. With the end of the school year coming, it’s only right that the current 6th graders would become fully aware that they WILL become 7th graders. Some may feel nervous, some may be excited. Some may feel both.
20 students were polled, about 13 or 65% of the students were excited, 2 students or 10% of the students were nervous, and about 5 or 25% of the students felt both excited and nervous.
Tons of current 6th graders are nervous, excited, or even both! Dear 6th graders, you will do great in 7th grade!
