Beginning Band Concert!
On October 3rd, Mrs. T brought out her spooky side and transformed her room into the Haunted Mansion ride. She did this for the event Rock Your School, which is an initiative Get Your Teach On started six years ago to encourage teachers and schools to create an educational experience by doing something different for their students. It doesn’t have to be big! It doesn’t have to be small! It’s about TEACHERS, their students, and a community of educators celebrating the little things! “My favorite thing about doing this initiative is seeing all the looks on the students’ faces when they walk in and see my room transformed, as well as myself,” Mrs. T said.

The race has just begun and every one is taking off! Since they were running out of light, the Varsity and JV team both ran 1.5 miles at the same time.

This year, Troupe 88868 won their first Top Honors, thanks to Ace Kenny (8). Ace created a Costume Design for the show Alice In Wonderland, designing costumes for the Cheshire Cat, Alice, and the Queen of Hearts. “My favorite design was the Cheshire Cat, and I am so thankful that Mrs. T told me the questions judges may ask, because it led me to change some things about them,” Ace said.

"My favorite character from The Outsiders is Johnny Cade"- Junie Densberger (7). At just 16 Johnny is a vital part of the greaser gang, and just like everyone, he has his secrets. These iconic characters have been recreated in the movie and musical and continue to wow readers and audiences in many ways. This year 7th graders are loving the book just like all the generations of 7th before them.

LCMS Student Emily Lentz is working on her civics worksheet, her partner next to her. Emily is a student in Mrs. Stone's 7th period. "It helped me understand how we made our rules and how Baron Montesquieu and John Locke thought about how government should be," Emily said.
