Each year, at least one concert band from LCMS is required to perform at a Music Performance Assessment, where the band is graded and judged by professional musicians. Even though only one concert band is required to go, both Symphonic Band and Concert Band play each year. This year, Concert Band performed on April 3rd, and Symphonic performed the day after on April 4th.
After listening to other bands perform before them, Symphonic and Concert played in front of three judges and earned straight superiors.
