One of the most exciting and secretive things that 8th grade science classes are doing is dissecting a frog in class. The next activity that you may be aware of is the giant field trip to Universal! This activity is called Gradventure and this is only for 8th graders that have not received multiple referrals. Mrs. Amanda Bond’s is currently working on a few projects. They also learn all about the history of the projects. Right now they are working on making a earthquake resistant house and they will be using a Phyphox app to see the power of the shaking.

Another thing that all grades are starting to get in to in classes is studying for the big tests at the end of the year like FAST or EOC’s. 7th and 8th graders have to take EOC’s in Algebra, Geometry, Civics and a whole bunch of other classes. Just recently all civics classes are working on a giant 15 page study guide to study for the EOC.
