The Hunger Games

Let the Games Begin! On 1/27/2026, Ms. Brady’s class got the official copies of ‘The Hunger Games’. Her class was excited to start it, reading along while Ms. Brady read out loud. Nevin Barclay said, “I am really excited to read the book because I love the Hunger Games. I’ve read it before and I feel like in class it’s more interactive then reading it on your own. Overall I’m really excited to read it in class.”

In ELA classes across the school, classes everyone enjoys reading different books. This year in particular, the 7th grade teachers decided to change things up. They decided to start ‘The Hunger Games’. ‘The Hunger Games’ is a very fascinating book, combining multiple genres together, making it that much more interesting. This year, the 7th graders are more excited than ever, ready to read what it’s about, and figure out what the outcome of the book is going to be.
