On December 6th, the LCMS cross-country team was up very early running 1.5 and 2 miles! This was the end to another amazing season! During these races both JV teams got first place overall, while boys varsity got runner up and girls varsity got 3rd. Most of the people on both teams showed up, which was fantastic for varsity since at least 5 people are needed to place. Otherwise, you are just running for individual place. Jordan M. placed 1st overall for JV boys, Sarah C. placed 5th overall for JV girls, Travis L. got 9th for varsity boys, and Elizabeth H. placed 10th for varsity girls!
Zaiden Smith said, “I feel like we did our best even if we didn’t get all first place at county. We still got top 3 for all of the teams!”
Both of the coaches said that this was another one of the best seasons that they have ever had, and can’t wait for next year!
