You know how you get out at 4:05? Some students don’t have to do that. This is called early release. Early release allows students with sports to get out after 6th period and not the normal 7th period schedule. This allows the people who are in early release to spend more time on their sport and grow their love and strength for it. Reese Oppelt rides horses and said that her favorite thing about early release is, “I get to see Benson [her horse] almost every day.” After 6th period ends early release students can go to the bus loop to then be later picked up by their parents. Early release gives all these students the opportunity to go and focus more on their sport or homework. When signing up for early release your parents have to sign a form that exempts you from PE because the hours that you put into your sport make up for it.
