Every year, there’s a week dedicated to being drug free known as red ribbon week. People raise awareness by dressing up for the different themes each day during the week. This year the theme was, “Life is a puzzle, solve it drug free.” Monday was wear red, Tuesday was dress as a teacher or staff member you feel safe with, Wednesday was to dress old, Thursday was to wear camo, and Friday was to wear your Halloween costume. We also had a red ribbon week poster contest where students could design a poster to match the theme with a winner from each grade level. Our 6th grade winner was Charlotte Kainz, our 7th grader is Acacia Zhai, and our 8th grader was Audrey Aubel. They all won some panther swag! It was an amazing week for us panthers to support being drug free!
