Meet the Teacher is an annual event students and parents look forward to, giving them the chance to walk their schedule and meet their teachers for the first time. Happening a few days before the start of school, incoming 6th graders to experienced 8th graders get a head start on the year. Teachers let the students know what supplies they need all while getting to know their teacher.
“I like getting to know the students and the camaraderie between us,” Ms. Knickerbocker said.
Additionally, students had positive comments and feedback for the event.
“I dislike the cellphone policy, but I like most of my classes,” Allie Peets (7) said.
“Elementary school was way more fun, but I love Ms. Higley” said Arya Muniz (6).
With a sneak peak to the year ahead, Meet the Teacher is a must attend event for both students and parents. Remember to come back next year!
