Art Club

Students are busy working on their big final poster for Art Club. Zoey Hempel said, "I really like getting access to all of the different materials and hanging out with my friends that I made through art club."

When asked what her favorite part about hosting art club is, Ms. Calabro says, “I like being able to make art with students that may not normally be able to have art in their schedule.” (McKinley Coffaro)

Shreeya Rajakumar is working on painting a blue sun on Art Clubs final project poster. When asked what her favorite part about the final projet, Shreeya says, “It’s really fun to meet different people through art club and I like how everyone gets to add their own unique touches to every art piece, I had a lot of fun with the final piece.” (McKinley Coffaro)

Art Club is an interactive club that lets students express their inner artistic abilities and gives them a place to feel welcome. Their teacher, Ms. Callabro, is the new 2D art teacher, so she has experience helping students make their art fit their personality. They meet on Tuesdays after school in Ms. Callabro’s art classroom.

With the clever ideas of Ms. Calabro, the students in art club go into every project with enthusiasm. They all chose to join art club because of their love of art.
