Every year in October, the student council has their elections! Lets meet the 2025-2026 treasurer candidates!
Jillian Ellmyr:
Jillian is in 8th grade and has been in student council for all of her 3 years at LCMS. She is running for Treasurer because she feels it is good for people who care to be in student council, not just random people who are in it for fun. Her number 1 goal if she is elected is to make sure everyone has a say and she listens to them.
Riley Holloway:
Riley is an 8th grader here at LCMS, and she has been in student council for 3 years. She is running for treasurer because she wants to be with her best friend. “I want to be right along the side of Raelin Frost, and I just want to be a part of the school.” She said her 1 goal is to make sure we have many events because last year we didn’t do a ton.
Jessica Powell:
Jessica is one of two 6th graders running for this position this year. Although this is her first year at LCMS she has big plans if she is elected. She plans to be as accurate as possible and make many people happy. She is running for treasurer for many reasons, but her main reason is to make sure the money is put to good use.
Xavier D’Souza:
Xavier is the other 6th grader running this year. He thinks people should vote for him because he is here to listen to them and help them the best he can. His number one goal is to try his best to get some money for the band room.
