Mega Blast is something students look forward to every year, as it lets you skip that one period you’ve dreaded since the start of the school year. Our school does these to not only let the students have fun, but to fund the school.
“Mega Blast is important because with a decreasing budget every year, it provides us with additional funds to purchase things we need for the school that we could not purchase otherwise,” Dr. Laudani says.
School funds rely on taxes and funding from the government, but sometimes that isn’t enough. Schools need a good supply of laptops and electronics to keep up with standards. Last year’s funding from Mega Blast went straight to student devices. This year, we raised so much more than expected, funding more fun activities to make the school better. Some of our funds will go towards the prizes but a lot of the money will go towards the school. This year’s Mega Blast party will be held on October 30th!
