Earth day: the day everyone starts to conserve their trash or at least mind where they are putting it. Mother Nature makes up where we live and where we derive all of our materials and food from. But sadly, humans have taken Mother Nature’s materials and turned them into non-biodegradable objects that harm the Earth. Gaylord Nelson, United States Senator from Wisconsin and a former governor, noticed this and founded Earth Day on April 22 1970. Thanks to him, people are mindful of what we put out on the streets, and try to keep the Earth cleaner for all of us.
