The glittered cafeteria shimmered in the blacklight, causing students outfits to glow in the night. The 8th grade dance is an iconic night of fun that students have looked forward to since sixth grade. The dance was worth the hype and 8th graders enjoyed a number of things from dancing, to enjoying the food.
The PTSA spent a day decorating and setting up a photo spot that became a popular spot for students.Dancing around to the Cupid Shuffle, students get in the mood for the start of a memorable night.Students surrounded by peers enjoy the fun experience.
Sadie Slater is in eighth grade and a design editor for the yearbook. She has been on the yearbook staff for the past two years and has attended Camp Orlando twice and Elite Weekend once. Even though she specializes in designing, she enjoys writing and photography, too. Sadie spent time over the summer choosing the colors and fonts for the yearbook’s theme so we could get a head start on design.
Maya Samuel is an 8th grade designer for yearbook. Maya has been in yearbook for the past year and went to the Camp Orlando Yearbook Convention over the summer. One of the reasons Maya enjoys designing is because she is very artistic, along with designing Maya enjoys art, music, running, and being with her friends.
