The setup in the Chorus class for the Peeps Party.
Every Easter season, Chorus 1 and Chorus 3 students get a huge sugar high. It comes in the form of little marshmallow Peeps with different unique flavors. The party is a way for the students to have fun and relax during the stressful weeks before the spring concert. This party took place on April 17th. Ms. Swallow has made this a tradition in her classes and the kids enjoy it every year.
Eating sweets is just what students need to be able to have fun and take a break during this last quarter. It also is a good way to celebrate spring and Easter.
This year’s flavors included Cinnamon Churro, Blue Raspberry ICEE, Cotton Candy, Chocolate Pudding, and Cookies & Cream. The students go 0ne by one, grab the flavor they are given, and then they go to their seats. Ms. Swallow counts down, and once everyone has a Peep, they all taste together. After they try them all, voting starts.
